The eleventh track of the 'Black Lives Matter' project - a collaboration between Norwich-based trumpeter Chris Dowding and artist Laure Van Minden.

'Darnesha Harris' uses our alphabet system (invented by composer Hugh Nankivell) in several ways, including a chord sequence built from the words 'Breaux Bridge', the city in Louisiana where Darnesha lived. A bass synth moves slowly through the letters of Darnesha's name, underpinning a solo section.

If you'd like to see alternate versions of Laure's artwork, these are available to subscribers on our project...
